This time the cemetery was visited by Ilan Gal, whose family, admittedly, is not directly connected with Czarny Dunajec, but his mother (born in Tarnow) was in the Lena Kichler orphanage in Zakopane after the war. Ilan, who came from Israel with two friends, is in Poland for the first time. On their way back from Zakopane, the delegation and their guide visited the Jewish cemetery in Czarny Dunajec. They were told about the history of the place by Wojtek Glowacz, who takes care of the cemetery. The guests were very impressed by the place, and said a prayer on the spot.
