New documents concerning Alfreda Bachner

I found new documents in Yad Vashem's archives regarding the wartime fate of Alfreda Bachner, whose story was one of the first described on the site. Alfreda was born in 1929 in Czarny Dunajec, survived the war in several camps, and then lived all her life in Germany, where she died at the age of 98. New documents shed light on her history during the war and her meeting with her future husband. In May 1945, they both found themselves in labor camps liberated on the same day in what is now the Czech Republic, which were only 20 kilometers apart. The entire story, complete with new facts, can be found here.
